HUMIDITY/DEW POINT CALCULATOR

Our humidity and dew point calculator offers a simple solution to calculate measurement related parameters in terms of humidity, dew point and more. In response to many requests we are now providing our “Humidity Calculator” as free online tool with a very intuitive input area. We also explain what relative and absolute humidity mean and what you have to consider when calculating the dew point.

RELATIVE AND ABSOLUTE HUMIDITY

Our humidity calculator offers a simple solution to calculate measurement related parameters in terms of humidity, dew point and more. From the dropdown menu it is easy to select the input parameters, so humidity conversions can be executed vice-versa, simply from one unit into another.

Please adjust your process parameters. The calculated values update whenever the input changes. Please note that you can change the "unit" of the first parameter.

WHAT IS HUMIDITY AND DEW POINT?

The humidity describes the amount of water vapor in the air. It is often referred to as absolute humidity and is typically read as mass per volume, e.g. mg/m³. Humidity does not count liquid water (e.g. rain, dew).

The relative humidity indicates the ratio of water vapor saturation in relation to the highest possible saturation. 100% means that no more water vapor can be absorbed in the air. The dew point (dew point temperature) defines the temperature to which the air must be cooled so that the water vapor begins to condense.

The dew point (dew point temperature) defines the temperature to which the air must be cooled for the water vapor to begin condensing.

THIS IS HOW IT WORKS IN DETAIL

Please enter the process parameters in the input fields. The first input parameter can be selected from the drop-down list right next to it to match the specified parameters.
After inserting the parameters, the OUTPUT values will be calculated immediately.

The PRESSURE MODIFIER can be used to calculate the output values at a different pressure level. This offers the possibility to convert the given values between gauge pressure and atmospheric pressure. At the same time calculated output values can be converted into modified pressure values.
