Continuous monitoring, without the downtime

The SUTO iTEC Exchange Calibration Service removes the gap that normally appears when an instrument leaves site for recalibration. Instead of waiting for your own sensor to come back, you receive a calibrated unit first and swap it in at a time that suits you.

The replacement arrives with a fresh calibration certificate and carries the exact sensor settings of your existing device, so it can be installed and trusted immediately. Your measurement history stays consistent, your compliance evidence stays complete, and production keeps running.

What arrives in the box

  • A calibrated sensor of the same type, ready to install
  • A current calibration certificate for that unit
  • Your existing sensor settings, already applied
  • Return documentation for the unit you send back

Because the swap happens in your own time window, there is no period where the measuring point is unmonitored.

How it works

  • 1

    Delivery in advance

A calibrated sensor is shipped to you first, with its certificate and your existing settings already applied.

  • 2

    Simple installation

Swap the on-site sensor for the calibrated one. No reconfiguration is needed, so the measuring point stays live.

  • 3

    Return shipment

Send the removed sensor back to us within four weeks, with the RMA form and delivery bill enclosed.

Three steps, one short site visit. Your measurement data stays continuous throughout the calibration cycle.

Important notes

  • Device age The sensor to be replaced must not be older than three years.
  • Return period The removed device must reach us within four weeks, otherwise the price of a new sensor is charged.
  • Warranty Every replacement device or sensor is guaranteed for twelve months.
  • Condition Replacement units are refurbished devices with full functionality and a valid certificate.
  • Special cases Tell us when ordering if your on-site device uses special, non-standard settings.
  • Damage assessment Any damage to the returned device is assessed on arrival and invoiced afterwards.
  • Sensor model Exchange is possible within the same sensor type only. Swapping to a different model is not available.

Returning your sensor

Three details keep the return moving without follow-up questions:

  1. The delivery bill must clearly state that the device is returned as part of the exchange calibration and will remain with SUTO.
  2. Quote the serial number of the device being replaced when you place the order.
  3. Complete the RMA form and enclose a printed copy with the shipment.

Frequently asked questions

Which sensors can be exchanged?

Instruments from the compressed air quality and dew point ranges are covered, provided the device is not older than three years. The exchange always takes place within the same sensor type, so a unit is replaced by an equivalent model rather than a different one.

Are the replacement devices new?

They are refurbished units with full functionality and a valid calibration certificate. Each one is inspected, calibrated and covered by a twelve month warranty.

Will my sensor settings be kept?

Yes. The replacement is configured with the same settings as your existing device before it ships, which is what allows it to be installed and used straight away. If your unit uses special, non-standard settings, mention this when ordering so the configuration can be matched.

What happens if I return the sensor late?

The removed device is due back within four weeks. If it does not arrive within that period, the amount for a new sensor is charged.

What has to be included with the returned sensor?

A printed RMA form and a delivery bill that clearly states the device is being returned as part of the exchange calibration and will remain with SUTO. Include the serial number of the replaced device so the return can be matched to your order.

What if the returned device is damaged?

Returned units are inspected on arrival. Any damage is assessed and invoiced after that inspection, so you receive the outcome before anything is charged.
