Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT System Administrator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the company’s information technology infrastructure, ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems, and implementing effective solutions to meet organizational goals. You will be leading our IT team in Shenzhen and play a crucial role in strategic planning to enhance the overall efficiency and security of our IT environment.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning:
- Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and implement IT strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
- Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies to drive innovation and efficiency.
Infrastructure Management:
- Oversee the day-to-day operation of the IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and systems.
- Ensure the availability, performance, and security of all IT systems.
Team Leadership:
- Manage and mentor a team of IT professionals, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback.
- Foster a collaborative and positive work environment within the IT department.
Project Management:
- Lead IT projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budgetary constraints.
- Coordinate with various departments to define project requirements and objectives.
Security and Compliance:
- Implement and enforce security policies and procedures to safeguard company data and information.
- Stay abreast of industry best practices and regulatory requirements, ensuring compliance.
Vendor Management:
- Evaluate, select, and manage relationships with external vendors and service providers.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements to ensure cost-effectiveness and service quality.
User Support:
- Provide technical support to end-users, resolving issues and ensuring a seamless IT experience.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance the IT proficiency of employees.
Budgeting:
- Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources and optimal return on investment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
- Proven experience (5 years) in IT management roles, demonstrating a track record of successful project delivery and team leadership.
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems, and security best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
- Familiarity with relevant technologies, such as cloud computing, cybersecurity, and enterprise software (ODOO).
